Living Loft Museum, home to over 1,000 puppets created by people just like you over the last 12 years. Your group’s visit begins with an introduction to our collection and
ends with hands-on puppet playtime in our studio and
performance space at 3114 Spring Garden St.

Meet the Puppets and Puppeteers: The Living Loft Live!

If your group is too large for us to accommodate at our studio, or you want us to come to you, we will pack
up some beautiful puppets from our collection and bring a slice of the
Living Loft to you! Professional puppeteers run this interactive educational program by using some of our favorite puppets (from 6 inches to 6 feet tall) to introduce Spiral Q’s unique blend of creativity and self-expression. This activity is perfect for up to 30 children ages 4-14.

Activity Table • $500/for 2 hours' instruction & supplies
Make your own puppets! Spiral Q artists bring supplies and provide instruction for making simple take-home masks or puppets out of recycled materials. Good for day camps, birthday parties or even neighborhood events, the activity table is a wonderful way to liven up your day with hands-on arts programming for up to 60. Whenever possible, Spiral Q artists will lead your group in a finale parade at the end.

Puppet Assembly Extravaganza • • • • • • $500/1 hour
Perfect for large groups, the Spiral Q Assembly program brings a van full of parade puppets to the stage at your school assembly, summer camp gathering, or other event with a captive, curious audience. This fun, interactive presentation introduces puppetry as an exciting, important tool for social change and creative expression, teaches about how our puppets are made, and includes a mini-parade around your space in which audience members get to try the puppets on for size. Includes multi-media presentation if A/V access is available. We are happy to tailor the program to meet your goals and fit your space. Appropriate for up to 500 people.

Make your event unforgettable by including Spiral Q in your plans! A Puppet Appearance is a stunning visual draw that delights families and attracts press, which makes it a perfect match for a street fair or other large-scale celebration. These giant parade puppets are available to rent, or you can request that our puppeteers animate them for you. Please call for details and pricing, as we try to tailor this service to the needs of your event and organization.
