Role: Parade Escort 10 positions
Purpose: Escorts are assigned to a group of paraders. You will meet and greet them upon arrival, then fill them in on what’s happening. Escorts assist their group with puppet assembly and direct them where to go throughout the event.
Perfect for: Outgoing types who like meeting new people and taking care of others.

Role: Parade Marshals 15 positions
Purpose: Keep paraders safe while they march along the route. Marshals travel with the parade: in the front, alongside, or at the caboose. They keep motorists and pedestrians aware of the festivities by waving bright flags in intersections and passing out parade materials as they go.
Perfect for: Active folks with an eye for safety and a hustle in their step.

Purpose: Help us document the festivities!
Perfect for: Folks with reliable photo equipment and knack for catching the moment.

Role: Puppet Guard -- 3 positions
Purpose: Watch over the pageant puppets resting in Clark Park, and spread the word about Peoplehood while awaiting the arrival of the parade.
Perfect for: People who enjoy hanging out in the park more than the street. People unable to walk the parade route.

Role: Parade Hosts
Purpose: Adopt a block along the parade route! We want everyone, participants, neighbors, and passersby, excited about Peoplehood. You can hand out Qinfo or promote your organization- no solicitations please. Watch the events unfold while you relax on the corner, but please tidy up your block after.
Perfect for: Parade neighbors, community groups, party people.
Time: 1PM
Meet at: Your block along the parade route.
Role: Parade Section Leader
Purpose: Rally your friends, family, and neighbors and take on a puppet section in the parade! From houses to birds, to urban elk, get your group to populate the Peoplehood parade! Perfect for: Paraders with big families, community networks and voices for chanting!
