The Peoplehood Pageant
A Proud Defiance
Saturday December 5th, 2009

Photos to come...

Spiral Q Puppet Theater is thrilled to announce the tenth annual Peoplehood Parade and Pageant! Peoplehood is a festive, creative celebration that allows hundreds of participants to take to the streets while celebrating our city’s greatest strength: its diversity. Now is the perfect time to join in this year's Peoplehood. This week is the Peoplehood Push, where everyday from noon until 9pm we are making giant puppets of all types. Come to our studio and help out. And then, join us at Clark Park this Sunday, October 11th between noon and 6pm to help create some of the gaint puppet scenes. Big and small, young and old, EVERYONE can get involved.

On October 17th, friends, families, individuals, and over 20 groups will gather at the Paul Robeson House for the Peoplehood parade. The parade movdes from the start at 50th and Walnut streets through West Philadelphia to Clark Park (45th and Chester). At the park at around 2:30pm we will perform the Peoplehood Pageant, a giant puppet performance that features over 200 performers!

If you have a group that would like to get involved in this year's PEOPLEHOOD, call Ted Enoch at Spiral Q, 215.222.6979
