Justice Works reflect Spiral Q's origins in Philadelphia's robust activist community and a continued commitment to support and bring visibility to the tireless work of social change activists. Spiral Q arranges Open Studio days for specific groups organizing demonstrations, with Q staff artists on hand to assist in the designing and building of giant puppets and props that visually encapsulate a particular issue or message. This builds esprit de corps, allowing activists to recharge their personal vision of the social change work they do everyday. It also offers an organizing mechanism in which new members can find a meaningful place within the movement, and it offers vital media attention to groups which are often marginalized by mainstream media.

Over the years, Spiral Q has worked on a variety of issues: global debt reduction, school funding/privatization, Prisons and Public Health, HIV/AIDS medication policy, alternative transportation and many more.
